The "Dolphin" MK 1 hull was popular in the 1980s and 1990s and are still popular as a leisure model yacht.  New designs and lighter construction materials means the popular racers of today are faster and slimmer but these developments mean longer keel fins and bulbs which require deeper water than the average city pond. The "Dolphin" design offers a robust sleek and beautiful six meter yacht that can sail in just two feet of water and cut through weed with its swept back classic keel.
